As at September 2011, there are 840 Consultant Urological Surgeons in the UK, 790 men and 50 women; about 95% of these are BAUS members. The consultant distribution across the country is: |

In addition there are 29 Full Members of BAUS (i.e. Consultant Urologists) in the Republic of Ireland.
There are 338 Specialist Registrars (urologists in training) in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland with 10 trainee members of BAUS in the Republic of Ireland.
There are approximately 187 urologists who are in Associate Specialist or Staff Grade posts in the UK; about 100 of these are BAUS members.
