Cambridge University Hospitals
Addenbrooke's is one of the largest teaching hospitals in Europe. Ambitious plans for the construction of a biomedical campus by 2020 are now in place and the site already includes the Cancer Research UK centre as well as the GlaxoSmithKline research facility. Construction of a new Laboratory of Molecular Biology is almost complete and there are further plans for a self-contained children's hospital as well as for migration of Papworth Hospital to the campus. There are, of course, strong academic links to Cambridge University.
Trainees will have exposure to core urology as well as uro-oncology, oncological research, endourology (including laser prostatectomy), urogynaecology, robotic surgery, reconstructive urology, andrology and stone management. Attachments can also be arranged to paediatric urology and renal transplantation/nephrology.

This is a Teaching Hospital providing comprehensive general and specialist urological services for a population of up to 750,000 on two sites: the 987-bed Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) and Cromer Hospital on the North Norfolk coast. There are also strong links to the University of East Anglia.

Peterborough & Stamford Hospitals
Peterborough is a fast-growing city with an ever-expanding population and new housing developments.
Urology was located at the Edith Cavell Hospital but, at the end of 2010, the Peterborough District and Edith Cavell Hospitals re-located to the new PFI-built Peterborough City Hospital on the Edith Cavell Campus.
This exciting development promises to help Peterborough to develop its range of services and to provide care for an ever growing population, both within the City and from outside its borders.
West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds
West Suffolk is a busy unit that has a high throughput of core urology, in addition to a large volume of stone work and some surgical andrology. The third Consultant post is currently vacant and the intention is to appoint a urologist with an interest in incontinence or laser surgery.
The training workload allows the trainee an opportunity for a large amount of hands-on experience in a carefully controlled environment. The unit is ideal for senior trainees.
