There are special interests in superficial bladder cancer, "blue light" cystoscopy, thermochemotherapy & minimally-invasive prostate teatments. There are three Consultant urologists, two associate specialists, one CT1 trainee, two uro-oncology clinical nurse specialists & two urology nurses. There are excellent DGH training opportunities. Radical pelvic surgery is performed by the Dorchester consultants in Bournemouth and there is a full laparoscopic service for upper tract disease with a stone service (including holmium laser & ESWL) and peripheral clinics in Weymouth, Bridport, Blandford, Swanage & Lyme Regis.
