The West Midlands Urology Research Group (WMURG) functions within the West Midlands Urology Regional Meeting (WMURM). Invited speakers to this meeting have talked on diverse topics including robotics, enhanced recovery & post-prostatectomy incontinence.
Audit
The WMURM delivers journal clubs, qurterly journal review and departmental audit to provide CME points for revalidation within the region. We also join our oncology colleagues annually to audit current trends in urological cancer care.
The West Midlands Urology Club meets once a year and has a long history of delivering interesting topics with experts from the UK and beyond.
It also awards the Guy Baines prize for the best oral presentation given during the meeting.
