What to expect
Training is delivered through the West Midlands Deanery with regular meetings of the training committee along with ARCP & RITA assessments throughout the year. The region delivers a comprehensive training program with all-day teaching sessions occurring every 4 weeks throughout the year at all the training centres within the region.
Training
Continuing medical education is delivered through the West Midlands Urology Regional Meeting (WMURM) whose quarterly all-day meetings are organised by a dedicated steering group. Within this meeting, the West Midlands Urology Research Group (WMURG) successfully continues to develop with lectures from regional experts and from post-MD West Midlands Specialist Registrars. Invited speakers have talked on topics including robotics, enhanced recovery & post-prostatectomy incontinence.
