NICE Guidelines
In May 2009, BAUS and NICE published a joint statement on the implementation of the NICE Prostate Cancer Guideline. Following publication of the guideline, the Oncology Section and the British Uro-Oncology Group (BUG) sought members' opinions by means of a questionnaire.
A further questionnaire is now in preparation to gauge opinions after two years of using the guideline.
Improving Outcomes Guidance (IOG)
NICE have produced guidance regarding the referral and management of urological cancers by multidisciplinary teams. This includes guidance about centralisation of complex services for urological cancers. The guidance document can be found here.

European Association of Urology (EAU) Guidelines
The EAU produce evidence-based guidelines for the management of both benign and malignant urological conditions. They are advisory rather than prescriptive.
