Please complete and return the proposal form to the BAUS office no later than Monday 17 April 2017. Your application will be considered at the next meeting of BAUS Council on Thursday 27 April 2017. Following the Council meeting, the Honorary Secretary will write to you with the result.
Your application must be sponsored by two members of BAUS, one of whom must be a Full Member, the other either an Honorary, Overseas, Senior or Full Member. It is appreciated that, depending on the part of the world in which you live, there may be logistical problems in identifying two members; if you experience any difficulty with this, please e-mail the BAUS Membership Department who will advise you further.
Assuming your application is successful, membership will be confirmed and backdated to 1 January 2017 and will include copies of the BJU International (BJUI) and the Journal of Clinical Urology (JCU), together with electronic access to both Journals through the BAUS website. Normally, all overseas subscriptions are collected in January each year.
The Overseas Membership rate for January to December 2017 is £250. Subscription rates are routinely reviewed by the Trustees each year and any proposed amendments are presented to the membership at the Annual General Meeting in June. Subscriptions must be paid in pounds sterling and may be paid by cheque, credit card or online via the BAUS website. Any member who has a UK bank account can set up a direct debit.
Applications will not be accepted if not accompanied by:
- a curriculum vitae
- an application form
- a completed credit/debit card form - this will be kept securely and no payment will be taken until after the Trustees have considered your application for membership and it has been approved
