BAUS SUB-SPECIALTY SECTIONS
The BAUS Sections aim to improve standards and quality of practice within their sub-specialties, by promoting training, research and development. Members of BAUS and allied professionals can become members of the Section which is relevant to their area of practice. Each Section is administered through its own Executive Committee, elected from within the Sections’ membership.
The Sections have input into the decision making processes of the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) offering specialist knowledge and input to guidelines development.
Each Section also undertakes regular audit activity.
