BAUS Section of Academic Urology Annual Meeting

The closing date for submission of abstracts for this meeting was 31 October 2008.

We are keen to encourage participation of non-clinical scientists at Section of Academic Urology meeting and the BRU International and the British Urological Foundation have generously agreed to fund 10 bursaries of up to £400 each to support the attendance of non-clinical scientists at this meeting. Non-clinical scientists who wish to attend can apply to the BJUI in advance for funding of their expenses including registration (at the early bird rate), travel and hotel. All applications, which should include a supporting statement from the Head of Department, should be sent to Nicola Quinnen, Chief Executive BJUI, 3 Junction Mews, London W2 1PN, email: bjui@ucl.ac.uk. The applications will be reviewed by the BJUI and BUF and the BJUI will inform individuals in advance of the meeting if their application has been successful but reimbursement will be made after the meeting on submission of receipts.

A limited number of rooms are available at the Bristol Marriott Hotel City Centre at a rate of £100 per night bed & breakfast. This rate will be available up to 28 November, thereafter there may be rooms available but not necessarily at this rate. To make a reservation call central reservations on 0207 0127637 and state that you wish to book a room from the BAUS allocation quoting reference number K12. Delegates are liable for their own accommodation bookings and costs.
