23-24 April 2009 – Section of Endourology Annual Meeting at St Andrew’s Hall, Norwich, the outline programme and abstract submission details will be available here shortlly.

The Section of Endourology runs a number of practical training courses as follows:

Operative Endourology Course
This residential course is aimed at trainees in their final year, post FRCS Urol, who wish to be appointed to a consultant post with a subspecialty interest in endourology and laparoscopy. The course, which is normally limited to 4 delegates, will involve the delegates being the primary surgeon with one-on-one expert Consultant assistance and coaching. Preference will be given based on previous endourological and laparoscopic experience and those who have shown an active interest in this sub-specialty area.

BAUS Section of Endourology Dry & Wet Labs ;

The target audience for these courses are those trainees at ST4 level and above. It is anticipated that applicants for the wet labs courses will have completed a dry lab course and applicants are required to give details of their experience when applying for these courses. Candidates on the dry lab courses would be expected to attend the following wet lab course, if at all possible, in order to maximise their laparoscopic exposure.

If you are interested in attending a dry or wet lab course, please contact endourology@baus.org.uk
Course dates for 2009 will be available here shortly.
