Live Robotic Surgery Link from Karolinska University Hospital
The Karolinska University Hospital has launched a live surgery channel that will regularly broadcast live surgery, including RARP and totally intracorporeal RARC with both intracorporeal ileal conduit and neobladder formation. Following the recent excellent guidelines published on live surgical events at meetings in the July European Urology Journal, this is very topical.
The unit believes that standardised surgery performed from a home institution maximises the benefits of live surgery in education. They will complement the live surgery with webinars and have an ambitious program planned for later this year.
The website that hosts all live surgery events, and also gives access to previous surgeries and outcomes, can be found at www.quaternaryhealth.com . A "tips and tricks" section for robotic surgery has also been launched recently.
