Personal Statement
I am Professor of Urology at UCLH, Associate Clinical Lead for uro-oncology and Lead for robotic urology at UCLH. I lead several NIHR portfolio research studies, including NeuroSAFE, PROOF and c-PRO-meta. I also lead a research team investigation LASERsafe (confocal microscopy for intraoperative margin evaluation). I have been NIHR lead for Urology for North Thames since 2016 and am a Royal College of Surgeons of England Consultant Research Fellow. I have personally performed over 1000 robotic radical prostatectomies, pioneering techniques such a complete urethral preservation, transperineal RARP and NeuroSAFE.
