Personal Statement

I am Professor & Chair of Urology at Imperial College London. I am also Chair of NCRI Prostate Research Group. I specialise in prostate diseases, particularly the diagnosis and management of prostate cancer, and urinary symptoms caused by benign diseases of the prostate. I conduct research evaluating novel approaches to diagnosing and treating prostate cancer, in order to minimise the impact on quality of life. I specialise in (and teach) techniques of HIFU and cryotherapy for prostate cancer, as well as Rezum for enlarged prostates causing urinary symptoms.
