The East Anglian Urology Group will hold its annual AGM and dinner, to which all Consultants and the BSoT regional representative are invited, on 28 March 2019, the evening before the academic meeting.
The morning of the all-day meeting on 29 March will focus on trainee education and educational updates. The current registrars in training posts will have a mock ARCP interview. This will be followed by the trainers' meeting which will focus on how to best help registrars reach their full potential.
The afternoon has two invited speakers, Mark Sullivan from Oxford on "Renal Autotransplantation", and Mark Speakman from Taunton on “What should be the minimum evidence for new LUTS/BPH surgical treatments?”.
The day will finish with trainees' presentations which will be quality-assessed and a prize given for the presentation with the highest score.
Please email me firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to attend either the meeting alone, or the dinner and meeting together. Attendance at the all-day meeting will be fully sponsored, but a list of participants will be required. The venue would like to be notified of any allergies before the meeting, and I can collect that information. The dinner has a limited number of spaces
We have agreed a discounted price with the venue of £90 to £95 B&B per night, if you mention that you are attending the meeting.
