BAUS FRCS (Urol) Revision Course

Download Event to Calendar

We will continue to monitor the national & global situation and follow guidance issued by the UK Government and relevant Health Authorities. Based on the advice to date, the FRCS Revision Course is scheduled to proceed as planned. However, there is a strong possibility that we may have to change the format of the meeting to be fully virtual if the physical meeting is unable to take place.

Please be assured we will endeavour to give as much notice to all relevant parties in this event via the BAUS website and via BAUS social media channels.

Social Distancing

In the event of a physical meeting, BAUS will be guided by social distancing measures imposed by the UK Government and relevant Health Authorities. We will follow social distancing measures and hygiene regulations. Additionally, we will introduce our own measures, where we see fit, and will fully update all parties when regulations are known, via the BAUS website, BAUS social media channels and direct communication.

Course Structure

If you have passed the MCQ / EMQ of the FRCS (Urol) part 1 exam you will benefit from attending the FRCS Revision Course.

The course aims to prepare delegates prior to the FRCS (Urol) part 2 exam with seminars on key topics covering the highlights, controversial areas and potential exam issues, with the afternoon sessions being devoted to mock vivas and examination technique.

The course is split into different types of activity:

  1. Seminars from experts will run for the first half of each morning (interactive seminars covering the highlights, controversial areas and potential exam issues)
  2. Mock vivas in the afternoons (six separate teams of examiners to give each attendee the maximum practical experience of the viva situation)

The programme for September 2021 is currently being finalised and will be available in due course

Registration will open later in 2021.
