Since July 2018, procedures involving vaginally inserted mesh for Incontinence or prolapse have been paused. Therefore, this option can only be offered in exceptional circumstances, when there is no alternative.

Procedures for removal of synthetic mesh in women are NOT affected by this mandate and remain available
