The overarching ambition is to make the UK the best place in the world to undertake a urology fellowship, while developing structured, equitable and internationally recognized portfolio pathways.

BAUS will also work collaboratively with international urological associations to develop sustainable, high-quality global training links that benefit UK trainees and international colleagues alike.

The BAUS Lead for Post-CCT Fellowships will work with the BAUS Section of Trainees (BSoT) to strengthen and formalise post-CCT fellowship training in the UK.
This role is open to Consultant and SSTU members who are full BAUS Members.

Suitable candidates are likely to:
• Have experience hosting fellows and/or junior clinical fellows
• Have undertaken fellowship training themselves (UK or internationally) and/or developing fellowship programmes.

Previous experience in BAUS administrative roles is not required. While involvement in education, training, or workforce initiatives is desirable, formal Training Programme Director (TPD) experience is not essential.

Patient Information and Involvement Lead (P/T)
- The Patient Information and Involvement Lead is responsible for managing the Association’s approach to high-quality, evidence-based patient information and meaningful patient involvement.
- You will work closely with the BAUS Trustee for Patient and Public Involvement, the Chair of the BAUS Patient Information Reader Panel, Nexus Healthcare Education and the BAUS Clinical Sections to ensure that a robust framework is in place for the creation and review of BAUS patient information, including patient involvement and user testing.
- A core aspect of the role is overseeing and maintaining compliance with the Patient Information Forum (PIF) TICK quality mark, ensuring that all patient information meets the PIF TICK principles and demonstrates best practice in co-production, accessibility, and governance.
- Permanent, part-time role, 3 days a week.
