Rowland Rees provides a specialist regional service in andrology and genito-urethral reconstructive surgery. His commonest operative procedures are urethroplasty, Peyronie's surgery, artificial urinary sphincters, male slings, and surgical sperm retrieval and vaso-vasostomy. He is also past secretary and Chairman of the BAUS Section of Andrology & Genito-urethral Surgery, a member of the Urology CRG (NHS England), & a member of Council of the Urology Section at the Royal Society of Medicine.
