Personal Statement

I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. I trained in the renowned London Urology Deanery (Imperial, St Georges, UCLH) and have a broad-based skillset, treating all urological conditions. My specialist interest is minimally invasive prostate surgery, particularly, focal therapy for prostate cancer (HIFU, NanoKnife, cryotherapy) and MIST BPH surgery (GreenLight, Rezum, UroLift, Echolaser). I have long-standing passion for academia, completing three prestigious fellowships in prostate cancer (RCSEng, MRC, NIHR) culminating in over 180 peer-reviewed publications, 130 presentations, and a prize-winning PhD from UCL, under Professor Mark Emberton.
