Personal Statement

I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. I trained in the renowned London Urology Deanery (UCLH, Imperial College) and have a broad-based skillset, treating all urological conditions. My specialist interest is minimally invasive prostate treatment; particularly, focal therapy for prostate cancer (HIFU, NanoKnife, cryotherapy) and MIST BPH surgery (Rezum, UroLift). Additionally, I have long-standing passion for academia, completing two prestigious fellowships in prostate cancer (Royal College of Surgeons, Medical Research Council) culminating in over 180 peer-reviewed publications, and a prize-winning PhD from UCL, under mentorship from Professor Mark Emberton.
