Personal Statement
John McGrath has been a Consultant Urologist at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital since 2007. He specialises in the treatment of bladder and prostate cancer, including robotic and open surgery. He is Chairman of the BAUS Academic Section and Executive Committee member of BAUS Section of Oncology. He is Cancer Lead for Genomics in the Southwest and represents Urology on the NHS England Specialised Cancer Surgery Commissioning Group. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at University of Exeter Medical School with research interests in prostate cancer, bladder cancer, prostate MRI and robotic surgery.
