Professor Masood Ahmed Khan
These figures include 1 private case. Mr Khan reported a relatively high transfusion rate and therefore further information was sought. The 4 patients that required transfusion all had relatively low pre-operative haemoglobin. In addition, all had either partial or complete staghorn calculi. Mr Khan only performs PCNL on stones greater than 2cm and he receives tertiary referrals for complex stones requiring PCNL.
