We are delighted to announce the adoption of the Scientific Basis of Urology Online Course - a programme with a distinguished 30-year legacy under QMUL and UCLH NHS Trust.

The course is now delivered as a 4-day online course, from Monday 17 November to Thursday 20 November 2025.

It brings together keynote speakers and lectures from renowned national and international experts, key opinion leaders, and previous FRCS (Urol) medal winners to impart their wisdom and knowledge to the next generation of urologists.

Designed to build the scientific foundations for urological practice, this course supports candidates preparing for the FRCS (Urol) examination, particularly Part 1, and enhances knowledge for clinical application.

By attending, you will:

  • Develop a broad understanding of the science underpinning benign and malignant urological conditions
  • Contextualise the relevance of physiology and pathophysiology of urinary tract disease to practice
  • Gain insights across key topics, including immunology & cancer immunotherapy, male infertility, urological emergencies, nephrology for urologists, advanced prostate cancer and much more.
