
Marketing and event guidelines
The following guidelines apply to meetings (scientific and/or social) held at the time of the BAUS Annual Scientific Meeting. Please note they do not refer to those sponsored satellite sessions, which appear in the BAUS Programme, but only to those individually organised meetings which do not appear in the programme.
- Company organised meetings and social events must be held outside BAUS core conference hours. The BAUS programme including timings will be available on the BAUS Annual Scientific Meeting site from February 2026.

Exhibiting companies who wish to hold an individually organised event at the time of the BAUS Annual Meeting must give the following information to the BAUS office by Tuesday 7th April 2026:
- Proposed date of event
- Proposed time of the event
- Proposed venue of event
- Programme/ event detail
The BAUS Office will then be able to advise if there is another event planned at that time to avoid clashes of time, venue and topic.
Please note events can only be organised outside of BAUS core conference hours which are Monday-Wednesday 08:00-18:00.

If a company holds an event during core conference hours it may affect that company’s application for exhibition space in following years’.
These guidelines have been developed to serve in the best interests of the association, delegates and companies exhibiting at the event.
