Data Processing Consent  

BAUS is committed to protecting the privacy of our attendees and advise that any personal data you provide will only be used for processing your registration and running the meeting. 
 
In relation to this event, your personal information is processed by the British Association of Urological Surgeons Ltd, 38-43 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London, WC2A 3PE. Any questions relating to your personal information can be directed to the BAUS Events using the email link below.

During registration, we will collect your name, job title, sub-specialty and hospital, these details will be displayed within the delegate list on the meeting app.  Please note that other delegates, speakers and sponsors will be able to contact you via the delegate list on the app, if you’d like to opt out of appearing on the delegate list on the app, please email contact BAUS Events using the email link below, 

We’ll also collect your email address, address and telephone number for contact and invoicing purposes as well as any dietary or accessibility requirements to best support you throughout the event. Speakers’ information will automatically be displayed on the programme PDF and meeting app. 

Exhibitor and sponsors may scan your badge at the entrance to a sponsored symposium or within the exhibition hall. I understand that, if I give permission to scan my badge then my contact details will be shared with those exhibiting companies who may contact me after the meeting by email. Such emails may include promotional information about the product(s) or service(s) marketed by the exhibiting company. Such mailings from the exhibiting companies will include details of how I may opt out of future mailings. 

BAUS will only share relevant information with CrowdComms for the Meeting Platform, Package Sponsors and Exhibitors. Your data will be stored on our Events System (LightMedia), (Stripe) Merchant Provider and Xero (Accounting System). BAUS 2026 meeting platform is provided by CrowdComms and will provide all relevant information regarding the meeting. Your name and Hospital will be displayed on the delegate list on the BAUS 2026 Meeting Platform. 

Sponsors & Exhibitors 

BAUS 2026 Annual Meeting receives exhibition sponsorship from Pharmaceutical Companies and other Trade Partners. All companies that will be sponsoring the event are named and have no input into the content of the programme or selection of speakers, except where they have a dedicated sponsored symposium session, which is clearly identified in the conference programme.  

Cancellation and Amendment Policy 

I confirm that I have registered for the appropriate day(s). I understand that in order to attend a teaching or skills course onsite I must be registered for the day that the course is taking place. 

Fees for both the conference and the teaching and skills courses, cannot be refunded for any cancellations after 15 May 2026. Cancellations before this date must be confirmed in writing to the events team, using the email link below and will be subject to a 10% administration charge. Any delegates who wish to change their registration to virtual attendance before 23:59 (BST) on 15 May 2026 will be issued a partial refund. Any requests to change to virtual attendance after this date will not be issued a partial refund. In the event of the Association cancelling a meeting a full refund will be given. 

Healthcare Professional Confirmation

I confirm that I am a Healthcare professional (HCP) defined as 'members of the medical, dental, pharmacy and nursing professions and any other persons who in the course of their professional activities may administer, prescribe, purchase, recommend or supply a medicine.' 

Photography Consent 

BAUS 2026 will have an official photographer and videographer who will be operating onsite. By registering for BAUS 2026, I understand that photographs may be taken, and this footage may be used by the organisers for marketing purposes. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for all participants at BAUS conferences and events. By registering for and attending an event either in person or on-line any individual agrees to its contents. Event organisers will enforce this code and expect cooperation from all participants (e.g. speakers, attendees, media, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers, staff) to help promote a safe and enjoyable experience. The BAUS event organisers have a right to remove you from the event if you break this code of conduct.
