As part of the BAUS communication strategy, we are exploring new ways of delivering information to members in a succinct and timely manner.
Now the pilot phase of the newsletter has passed, we would love to hear your views on this way of communicating with BAUS members. You can read the week's full newsletter below:
... but first, please take a minute or two to complete this very short survey.
Introduction from Jo Cresswell, BAUS President
"Dear Colleagues
"I have just spent a very enjoyable few days at The Scottish Urological Society and South West Urology. The organisers of both meetings graciously invited me to present some updates from BAUS. Both meetings were very well-attended and there was lots of interesting discussion. It is obvious that everyone really enjoys an opportunity to get together and to decompress from busy jobs. The BAUS and BSoT representatives provide a link to national initiatives and opportunities. I strongly encourage everyone to take a look at the links for nominations for new BAUS representatives in several regions. An enjoyable role with a national group of peers.
"Just a week to go until the early bird deadline for the BAUS Annual Meeting - surely a "no-brainer" to register now and save some of your hard-earned money.
"After a brief sojourn in Middlesbrough, I look forward to joining the Guys and St Thomas' team on Thursday evening as Visiting Professor. What an honour to be part of this prestigious tradition. I have to say that the BAUS Presidency is a busy job, and the inbox is pretty full, however, there are so many exciting opportunities and I feel very privileged."
