Rickaz Raheem, Specialty Doctor in Urology based at Milton Keynes University Hospital, has been appointed Co-Chair of the Intercollegiate Surgical Education Committee for Specialty & Associate Specialist (SAS) doctors, Locally-Employed Doctors (LEDs) & Non-Consultant Hospital Doctors (NCHD).

He has also been invited to represent SAS doctors and LEDs at the Joint Committee on Intercollegiate Examinations..

This is a great achievement, not just for Rickaz, but for the entire SAS / LED fraternity. BAUS strongly supports Rickaz and we encourage everyone to provide him with as much help as possible in this role.

Finally, we are delighted to see that SAS doctors and LEDs are now being recognised by the Royal Colleges for the vital role they play.
