Funding opportunities

The National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) has produced a document to help potential academic urologists, the Surgeon's Guide to Research Funding.

This is aimed at surgeons of all career stages, and includes opportunities for both basic and clinical research. It has a cancer focus, although many of the opportunities are not exclusive to cancer.

The Urology Foundation (TUF) awards grant funding for clinicians and researchers to visit and observe colleagues at international centres of excellence with the aim of bringing pioneering techniques, technology and patient care to the UK.

The current call is open, and awards may be up to the value of £1750.
