Commences 01 August 2024 for 12 months
Department: Royal Berkshire Hospital
The Royal Berkshire Robotic Fellowship post has been training robotic uro-oncological Surgeons for over 10 years. To date it has trained four UK Surgeons (all now in UK Consultant posts) and five international surgeons (three from Australia, one from the Caribbean, and one from Israel).
The post includes 3-4 days operating (almost exclusively robotics) with four different Consultants, including pelvic, upper tract and some reconstructive urology. There is also exposure to andrology, specialist incontinence work, paediatrics and HOLEPs, with one specialist uro-oncology clinic and a 1 in 4 on-call rota.
We enjoy working as a tight team at The Royal Berkshire, and our fellowship plays a key part in structure. As such, the whole team supports the role and enjoys the success and fun that our fellows bring to us.

We also expect at least one MDA audit; one national presentation; and a peer-reviewed publication, over the 12 month post.
