Executive Committee

The Section of Andrology was first formed in 2003. It has now expanded to include urologists carrying out genito-urethral reconstruction (e.g. for urethral strictures) and, as a result, changed its name to the Section of Andrology & Genito-Urethral Surgery in June 2009.

ELECTED OFFICERS

Mr Arie Parnham (Chair)

Arie is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at The Christie (Manchester) and Wirral University Teaching Hospital; he joined the team in 2018 and was elected to Vice Chair from 2022 before taking over as Chair in January 2024.

Miss Odunayo Kalejaiye (Vice Chair)

Ayo is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Birmingham and joined the team in 2019, having trained with David Ralph at University College Hospital London. 

She was elected as Secretary from January 2022 and then elected as Vice Chair in January 2024. ... click here for email contact


Mr Vaibhav Modgil (Secretary)

Vaibhav is a Consultant Urological Surgeon and Andrologist at the Manchester Andrology Centre. He joined the team in 2019 and was re-elected for a further two years from January 2023 before being elected as Secretary from January 2024.  Vaibhav has undertaken specialist training in andrology in Australia and London (UCLH). He provides a high volume tertiary referral service for complex andrological conditions such as erectile dysfunction (including penile prosthesis surgery), Peyronie’s disease and infertility. He is also a member of the European Association of Urologists (EAU) Male Reproductive and Sexual Health guideline group and the International Society of Sexual Medicine (ISSM) young researchers' and clinicians' committee ... click here for email contact or here to follow him on X (formerly Twitter)

Mr Aditya Manjunath (Member: Jan 2022 to Dec 2024)

Aditya is a Consultant Urological Surgeon in Southmead Hospital, Bristol and joined the team in 2022. He provides tertiary referral services in genito-urethral reconstruction including penile cancer, urethroplasty and Peyronie’s disease to the South West of England.

Miss Karen Randhawa (Member: Jan 2024 to Dec 2026)

Karen is a consultant Urologist at Altnagelvin Area Hospital, Londonderry Northern Ireland and joined the team in January 2024 for a 3-year term of office. 

She has built and established a new centralised regional penile cancer service for Northern Ireland in addition to providing a tertiary referral service for complex andrological conditions including Peyronie’s disease, male infertility and erectile dysfunction (including penile prosthesis surgery). ... click here for email contact

Mr Peter Grice (BSoT Representative: 2023)

Peter is a Specialist Urological Trainee (ST6) in the East Midlands Deanery and is currently working in Leicester. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Clinical Urology and has a keen interest in andrology.

Professor Ian Pearce (BAUS Trustee)

Ian Pearce is a Professor of Urology at Manchester Royal Infirmary. He held the post of Hon Treasurer before being appointed Honorary Secretary Elect in June 2019 for a two-year period.
