Eric Riches' BAUS 1947 Album

Dedicated to Willie Mack

These photographs were taken by Eric Riches, a keen amateur photographer, during a boat trip on the River Clyde during the 1947 BAUS Annual Scientific Meeting in Glasgow.

Riches dedicated the album to Willie Mack who organised the Glasgow meeting and who, in 1970, became President of BAUS. Willie Mack is seen in several images but was photographed "solo" in the final image of this series.
