BAUS 1945 London

The 1945 BAUS Annual Scientific Meeting took place from 28 to 29 June 1945 at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, Lincoln's Inn Fields, London.

The College had largely been destroyed by German bombing in May 1941 (pictured upper right) and a complete rebuild was required. This reconstruction was completed by the end of the Second World War. The College remained unchanged until 2017 when it closed again for a complete rebuild and refurbishment.
